More sweets! I didn’t plan on buying these, but… 50% OFF! So why not? *shrugs*
When they say randoms… they truly mean it!
I saw animal shaped gummies and other random stuff like a top hat, palm tree, sunglasses, padlock, clock, some stuff I could not identify…
The fruity taste is nice and strong. Sweet, of course. I mean, it’s candy after all. But, I suppose, a better way to say it that the taste feels more natural than most of other brands I had my hooves on. They do promise on the package that there are no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives in the gummies.
VERDICT: Honestly? It’s better than the Haribo Supermix I’ve tried. I recommend this to gummy enthusiasts.
Rowntrees Pick & Mix
This one was even more mooseventurous!
I opened the pack and was like… I don’t know what I’m looking at!
Pretty random in here too, but no animals or other unidentified objects. Just some round and square, and fruit (at least I think those are fruits?) shapes in different sizes. Some covered with sugar or whatever that stuff is.
The taste is also good and feels naturally fruity. Turns out, not all of them are gummies. Some are more like… I don’t know… Skittles? Or the fruity Mentos, just softer. That kind of consistency.
Overall, I’ve identified three distinct kinds of candy in the pack: bigger, fatter and rounder gummies with some extra covering, smaller fruit shaped gummies, and square and the smallest candy that’s harder but still chewy.
Okay… according to the package, it’s tooty frooties, fruit pastilles, and fruit gums.
VERDICT: I like the small squares candy the most, but I found that if you do as they say, “Pick & Mix”, it tastes best. It’s a nice snack.
I’ve also wondered… what the fur is or are Rowntrees? Yeah, it’s a brand. I knew that much. But since Google didn’t show me any trees or anything else, I guess that’s all that it is. 🤔
