He who sleeps inside.
The eyes have opened.
Let me out, let me go.
He who slept inside.
Knocking on the door.
Let me out, let me go.
He who opened his eyes.
It is time to run now.
Let me out, let me go.
He who is suffocating.
The lungs are starving for fresh air.
Let me out, let me go.
He who cries at night.
It has been too long.
Let me out, let me go.
He who existed silently.
This life is worth living.
Let me out, let me go.
He who is breaking free.
It is time to fly.
Let him out, let him go.

I’ve been summoned.
Finally, I am answering the call.
I know, it’s been rude of me to make you wait.
For so long.
Things are… complicated.
But the wait is over.
I’m here.
-
I didn’t ask for anyone to lead me, but so many felt like they needed to.
I never wanted anyone to hold my hand and guide me, but yet someone still felt the need to drag me their way.
Those boulders on my path were never really that scary, but the voices around me told otherwise.
Holding hands high, they were praying to a god I stopped believing in so long ago.
I never wanted to be ruled, but they tried anyway.
I only wanted to be free, but I allowed their chains to wrap around my body and soul.
Lost in an illusion that I couldn’t let go.
When I snapped my chains, I put a crown on my head unknowingly.
Who could’ve thought that I was a royalty. -
He played the piano as I laid on the sofa, reading a book.
The sun was peeking into the room through tall, arched windows.
The wind was gently moving the curtains.
A patterned carpet covered the old wooden floor.
The fireplace sat still. My thoughts drifted away into a cabin in the woods.
Playing the piano with open doors.
Forest creatures gathering to listen to it.
Almost like in a fairy tale.
Fingers dancing on the keys.
Playing the piano was I.I opened my eyes to look through the windows.
Green, lush trees swayed in the wind.
Watching him and myself was I.
From another corner of the room.Such a beautiful melody.
Singing to my soul.
He was playing the piano.
He was I. -
Joy.
I didn’t know I had lost.
Empty spaces.
I thought I needed to fill with things.
Clothes.
I had bought as my style transformed.
Images.
I had seen in my head.
Future.
I thought I had desired.
Discomfort.
I couldn’t get rid of.
Realization.
I had finally welcomed.
Burden.
I didn’t know I had carried for so long.
Relief.
I’ve started to feel as I let it all go.
Myself.
I’ve uncovered and freed once more.
Joy.
I’ve welcomed back into my life.
-
Grief.
Over something that went missing, but won’t return.
Maybe all that was needed was a farewell.
I can look up at the sky again.
I feel relief.
I can go on again and it feels like I am turning to a new chapter.
Once again.
Speed up towards my journey.
Have my eyes on what matters most.
Ignite my dreams. -
Do you… feel anything?
A gentle breeze?
A soft whisper?Can you sense what’s coming?
In your bones.
Your heart.Or are you… completely oblivious?
As your eyes see.
And your ears hear. Are you… afraid?
-
Amazing things will show up before your eyes if you awaken.
And sleeping stars will shine once more.
Dark galaxies that have been forsaken, will glow again and call you home.
-
Overlooking the cityscape under the burning horizon, I fall asleep.
I drift away into a dream and I don’t wake up.
I never want to wake up again.
I got worn out chasing a star that mesmerized me with its glow.
I wanted it to shine for me alone.
No matter what, I was never getting closer.
Reaching out, but never touching.
Forgetting everything.
Even myself.
I lay on a cloud breathless.
And there is nobody to wake me up from this dream.
Below the starry blanket there is just me. -
It’s been so long…
The dirt and the dust are brushed off by the wind.
So numb…
The wings are spreading slowly.
And this pain echoing through the eyes as they open…
The light greets.
