Moose Tries New Nomz: Cobs Natural Popcorn Best Ever Butter

Who doesn’t love popcorn? (Don’t answer that.)

There is such a wide variety of flavors to choose from. My moose favorites are salt, butter and cheese flavored popcorn.

Now, if you are one of those who is into sweet caramel popcorn, just get out of here now. Bye!

Anymoose…

Got my hooves on these once more. Used to be my favorite! Well, not anymore!

Honestly, this isn’t the first time I’ve eaten these. But they’re a little different than before. I mean, look at that weird font and all… (Though I don’t remember what exactly they looked like earlier, they were definitely different. Don’t question me! I am the Moose Lord!)

Best ever butter? Not so much… I have no idea what I ate there. This isn’t the flavor I remember, which used to be amazing!

It sucks now!

VERDICT: Someone really ruined this favorite of mine! I don’t recommend. Looks OK otherwise, if you want it for some popcorn photoshoot, or want something to throw at people. Whatever floats your boat (or goat)!

When I saw these… I thought I had to get them!

This type of candy has been one of my favorites since I was a kid, which also means that I had moosepectations.

One of them being… it moose be tasty!

Also, it’s a product of Mexico. Interesting…

When I opened the bag, I was unimpressed by the sugar covering the candy. It’s not clear on the package that it’s covered with it, but ok. Whatever.

The candy pieces were also a bit smaller than moosepected, but that’s not an issue.

Finally…. the taste.

Orange ones do taste like orange. A little bit sour.

Green ones taste like apple, also a little bit sour, but less so than the orange ones.

Now the red and… less red? ones are supposed to be cherry and strawberry, but I really couldn’t tell which is which just by looking at them. The taste difference is also only slight… Difficult to say which is which after eating them.

Blue ones are named as blue punch… clearly, that’s not a fruit or vegetable… so what is it??? Cannot be identified by tasting it. Just… something… Not a bad taste though. I guess.

VERDICT: Didn’t meet any of my moosepectations. Not really anything special. I’ve had much better tasting candy before, including other candy of this type. Definitely not worth it for the price paid! Nearly 15 ringgit!

What caught my eye is that the package looks a lot like Lay’s. The logo design and the package color… Just like Lay’s Fromage, which has been a favorite of mine back in my home country—Lithuania.

The taste, however, was nothing like it. It didn’t need to taste the same, but it would’ve been nice for it to have a higher quality of taste on its own. If you get I mean…

Upon checking the package, I’ve discovered that these Smith’s (somehow I keep wanting to type Smoth LOL, like some super cool moth hehehe) chips come from Australia. There’s nothing about Lay’s on the package though…

Moosehaps this is the Australia’s Lay’s, like the United Kingdom’s Walkers? However, Walkers and Lay’s look more like the same brand than Smith’s does.

Who knows? *shrug*

VERDICT: I didn’t hate the taste, it was an ok snack. But it’s unlikely that I will buy these again. I’m gonna say you should try them and see if you like them for yourself though.

When they said thick cut, they weren’t kidding. These chips are thick.

But what is Kiwi BBQ supposed to be?

Is it any different from other BBQ chips out there?

No.

The taste isn’t anything special. Just BBQ.

That being said… does it taste bad?

No.

But is it something to die for?

No.

That’s a lot of nos.

VERDICT: That’s a no from me. Mediocre taste. Won’t buy again.

Would you look at that! Salted egg chips! I would say this flavor is a Malaysian favorite.

I’ve seen these chips around for a while now, but honestly? The price spooked me away from buying them. They’re around a whopping 25 ringgit!

How many plates of nasi goreng or ayam kynuit can you get for that? MHM!

I’ve finally bought them just for the sake of trying them out. And I certainly had some moosepectations!

Looking nice and fancy on the pack, but once you open it…

That’s not the same fancy and thick shape like on the package!

And the taste? It’s good! Fortunately!

VERDICT: Tasty nomz you can enjoy. Your wallet? Not so much. Unless you’re a high roller and care not for the puny price of these chips.
